Most of the time when lunch rolls around I get the typical answers for what my little brother, who is 4, wants to eat. There’s the classic chicken nuggets response, or a PB&J. So I have to find what he will actually eat. I try to switch it up, so here are a few of my go to lunches. Almost all of them are super quick to make and take no time at all.
The first one is homemade pizza. It’s super simple and takes no time flat maybe at mix 15 minutes, probably less than that. I think building the pizza base is probably self-explanatory. You put the sauce on, then the cheese, then you can put pretty much any toppings you want on top. I just go with the original pepperoni pizzas. I also like to make it fun and spell our first initials in pepperonis.
The second one is corndogs, there’s no secret to making them. All you have to do is preheat the oven, put them on a tray and you’re good to go.
Fish sticks are the same process, Fish sticks take a little longer than the rest of these, but it’s worth the wait. You can always still make the things that in my little brothers mind will never get old, things like chicken nuggets…
Or PB&J’!. Other times I just go simple and heat him up a banquet meal in the microwave. His favorite is the fish stick meal with chocolate pudding.
Sometimes he asks for ravioli, so I cook up some cheese ravioli and pour some tomato based pasta sauce on top.
As always I’ll leave you with a quote:
“Ask not what you can do for your country. Ask what’s for lunch.”
